Knowing How to Maximize Scholarships
I know that most of the time when you fill out your FAFSA to get money for college it can get pretty frustrating because of all the information you have to compile from both you and your parents. On top of that they want to know exactly how many sibilings live with you ect. In this whole process of getting your financial aid application filled if you’re not careful, you can make some pretty big mistakes.
One of those mistakes is leaving blanks for your financial data. If you have $0 for a certain section then make sure you put that number. If you don’t fill this section out properly, it may cost you thousands of dollars in grant money for college you could have obtained. My advice to you is to be steady and take your time so that you get things done right the first time. After all, this is your life and it’s best to be careful with it.
In order to maximize your scholarship opportunities you may need the help of other people. Start to recruit adults that could help you discover the scholarships as they come out so that you don’t miss out on new money that comes out. This is a great new way that I used in high school to find out all the information I needed to know about scholarships. You can find out more by clicking here.
